Who We Are
The McCoy Center programs seek to address social issues impacting families and to prevent youth involvement in anti-social behavior. Youth will be assisted in developing the fundamentals of good character during their involvement with the agency. The agency offers and connects families to resources in the community while providing education on navigating systems to maintain full autonomy over personal life issues.
The organization’s mission is to provide quality services focused on the wellness of families and individuals and the empowerment of youth while promoting strong partnerships with schools, businesses and other service agencies.
Give a Child the Gift of Success
Can you place a value on a child's future? If you could, what would it be worth to ensure every young person has an equal chance at success in the classroom and in life?
At the McCoy Center, we strive to empower children and youth and strengthen families exposed to the detrimental risks of poverty. Your $500 donation could provide 10 middle school students with health and nutrition workshops to combat the childhood obesity epidemic, while a $2,500 donation could support the development of a youth entrepreneurship and financial literacy curriculum to help Westbury teens become effective leaders in their community.
